Looking for a way to strengthen your team while giving back?

Greater DC Diaper Bank’s Mobile Volunteer Program (MVP) brings team-building and community impact directly to your workplace. Engage in a meaningful, hands-on volunteer experience that helps local families access essential hygiene products. In just one hour, participants will build hygiene kits while having plenty of time for social interaction and team bonding.

How it Works

Hygiene products are bundled into kits, which are then distributed to families across DC, Maryland, and Virginia. Kit-building is a fun and engaging activity that can be done assembly-line style at stations, making it easy for groups of all sizes to participate.

Our team will handle all logistics, procure all supplies and materials, and arrive in advance to ensure everything is set up before your scheduled event.

Event Checklist

  • Submit an inquiry form (Recommended at least 1 month in advance)
  • Customize your experience with GDCDB staff to align with your team’s goals
  • Sign event agreement and submit payment to secure your spot
  • GDCDB facilitates the event on-site, including set-up and clean-up
  • Assembled MVP kits are distributed to local families in need

Kit Options Include:

  • Baby Hygiene Kits – Baby shampoo, lotion, soap, and more
  • Adult Hygiene Kits – Soap, shampoo, lotion, deodorant, etc.
  • Dental Hygiene Kits – Toothpaste, toothbrushes, floss
  • Period Product Kits – Menstrual hygiene essentials
  • Newborn Diaper Bags – Diapers, wipes, and baby care items

Event Capacity & Pricing

MVP events can accommodate groups ranging from 20 to 500+ participants.

Pricing starts at $10,000 but varies based on group size and kit selection. Price inclusive of all products and supplies.
